I got the chance to interview Matt Foss, our Interim Dean of Liberal Arts, and found out some interesting personal thoughts and background information. Foss grew up in a rural town in Missouri and attended Scotland County High School. After high school, Foss attended Northeastern State college, now called Truman State College in Missouri.
The student life committee did not see fit for intercollegiate varsity sports to remain at NHCC. Not because there was issues with the budget; but rather issues with today's demographic of the student. As well as the lack of interest shown by the everyday student.
1.) "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" I know this film won't be out for another week and a half but I encourage you all to see this film. As a fan of the trilogy I for one can't wait to see what happens to Captain Jack Sparrow. 2.) "Spiderman 3" I'll admit typically I am not a huge Spidey fan but I saw this film opening night and it was awesome.
Well as the semester winds down it is a time to reflect. For those who are leaving NHCC a time to remember everything you learned here. As someone who has been here for the past three years I have learned a lot. I learned about just being me and having fun.
